CV/ResumePosted: May 13, 2015
To create a well thought out CV I decided to find a few good examples of design CV’s and break them down.
I wanted to find out what information trended between the examples CV’s. I took notes and using the fields to create 2 templates.
I also read a great infographic on designtaxi.com entitled -Infographic: 7 Tips To Create An Amazing Design Résumé http://designtaxi.com/news/375327/Infographic-7-Tips-To-Create-An-Amazing-Design-R-sum/.
With this in mind and everything we had covered on building a successful CV I noted the do’s and don’t’s
- CV should fit into your stationary branding and speak the same language through e.g. Online presence, Business Cards, Twitter, e.t.c.
- Should be single sided
- should be unique and show your niche
- could be created for a specific client/audience
- do not lie/ make false accusations
