Limited Edition BottlesPosted: November 20, 2015
Research into other limited edition bottles
It’s safe to say the once I googled Limited edition bottles almost every company, at some point, has brought one out. I will dedicate this post to visual examples, while in the next one I will deconstruct the properties of creating a successful set of limited edition designs. The first thing that came to mind when I was thinking of examples of companies that have produced limited edition bottles, was Absolut vodka. I often buy them because they produce beautiful, creative bottles, and seem to every few months.
Absolut Vodka is the leading brand of Premium vodka offering the true taste of vodka in original or your favorite flavors made from natural ingredients.
Absolut are known for producing a range of limited run and special edition vodkas.
I’ve got the Absolut London Limited Edition bottle, which was made for the London 2012 Olympics, and designed by Jamie Hewlett. I’ve also got one of the top left bottles, where none of the designs are identical, plus each one is individually numbered.

A Collaboration of Two Breweries
I worked with Lakewood Brewery and Rahr Brewery in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to illustrate a special, limited edition pint bottle for North Texas’ very first brewery collaboration. This is a 3 color design, screen printed onto the bottles, along with pint glasses and snifter glasses.
Beck Limited Edition Art Series Bottles Designed by Popular Artists

J&B Crazy Colors Limited Edition Bottles
J&B is a British whiskey brand that dates back to the 1700s, when it was mostly served to the Royal Household and aristocrats. Today it’s all about party, party, party, and that’s why after a few (also) colorful limited edition bottles, J&B has now rolled out the “Crazy Colors” limited posh rave-like edition by agencyBlackandgold, that just exudes fluorescent colors, animal patterns, and, all in all, absolute kitsch.
